Pre-Coaching Course Questionnaire
Embarking on coaching tells you something about yourself. It tells you that you are honest enough to know that parts of your life are not working and courageous enough to do something about it. You are ready for change.
Coaching is a commitment to change. It can be both exhilarating and daunting.
When you decide to commit yourself to coaching, you will develop a relationship with someone who will ask you the questions and guide you in the skills needed to make the changes you want.
The first question to ask yourself is:
What type of life do I want to create for myself that I don’t have now?
This is a big question and to help you with the answers, a pre-coaching course questionnaire has been designed to take you through this step by step.
The questionnaire will help you identify the major areas of your life from your physical health through to your life purpose. It will then guide you in selecting the changes that you might like to make in each of these areas.
Why is this questionnaire important?
The questionnaire does more than guide you to the changes you would like to achieve. It gives you a starting point for measuring your success. We notice big, fast changes be they environmental such as floods, bush fires, hurricanes, social such as getting a new job or losing one, financial such as stock market crashes or winning a prize. We do not notice the small changes or even the big changes that occur slowly.
To make sure that you notice your success, your questionniare gives you a written list of what you wanted to achieve before you started taking any action. You can compare this list with what you achieve by the end of the course.
People are aften surprised at the changes that have taken place when they look back at the starting line and see how far they’ve come.
